ATH is a world-class training facility sporting two locations at Houston Sports Park and the Memorial Hermann Sports Park in Spring. They ensure athletes are kept cool year-round during intense, high-velocity workouts by maintaining a comfortable interior temperature at all times, especially when training takes place in open-air zones in the turf room. Keeping a business electricity budget under control is essential when the HVAC has to perform beyond the call of duty.

 

Electricity usage at ATH

Electricity usage at the ATH facilities includes heating and cooling systems, high-tech training equipment, motion sensor speed-testing devices, industrial ice machines for health and hydration, plus over 800 high-beam fluorescent bulbs to illuminate over 1,000 athletes a year. Due to the indoor-outdoor design of both facilities, HVAC contributes approximately 20% of ATH's energy usage. The Business Power Plus plan helps ATH save with a low price, plus access to online management tools that help monitor daily usage.
