AC/Heat Protect FAQs

A typical retail service call for a home AC/heating system is $100. A typical repair cost is $450. With AC/Heat Protect, you will receive up to a total of $15,000 in annual coverage — depending on the plan you select — and two discounted tune-ups. Any needed service will be provided by a professional and licensed technician. A $60 service fee applies for each claim, including HVAC tune-ups.

Coverage terms and conditions

* A $60 service fee applies for each visit, including HVAC tune-ups. AC/Heat Protect is provided by Allied Warranty, LLC. You must have a single-family home with a Texas service address to purchase this product. Your Reliant account information will be used by Allied for enrollment in AC/Heat Protect, and you hereby authorize Reliant to share that information with Allied. Following enrollment, you will receive additional information, including Allied’s toll-free number, product details, terms and conditions for covered items and your contract effective date, which is when your coverage begins for AC/Heat Protect. You will have 30 days after your enrollment is processed to review Allied’s materials before the contract effective date. If you call and cancel during your review period, you will not be billed for this service. If you decide to continue with this service after the contract effective date, your coverage will begin automatically and the Allied charges will appear on your Reliant bill. If at any point you elect to change electricity providers, your AC/Heat Protect coverage will continue unless you choose to cancel this service separately. However, you must pay your final bill in full before this service can continue. You can cancel AC/Heat Protect service at any time by calling Reliant at 1-866-RELIANT.
