Prefer to have only interior plumbing, exterior plumbing or water heater coverage? You can enroll in any of the 3 Plumbing Protect plans for $9.99 a month each.
The cost of repairing damage caused by plumbing issues can be enough to impact many household budgets. Plumbing issues can include backed up pipes, leaks from broken seals, line breaks and more. Plumbing essentials helps protect against the impact of expensive, unexpected repairs.
The service is available to Reliant residential customers who own or rent a home.

*The coverage for the Reliant Plumbing essentials package is as follows: a) Reliant Interior Plumbing Protect covers up to $1,000 per qualifying claim and up to $10,000 per year toward the repair and/or replacement of your home's interior plumbing system. b) Reliant Exterior Plumbing Protect covers up to $2,000 on qualifying claims per year toward the repair and replacement of your home's exterior plumbing system. c) Reliant Water Heater Protect covers up to $1,000 per qualifying claim and up to $10,000 per year toward the repair and replacement of your home's water heater.
Reliant Plumbing essentials includes three separate protection plans: a) Reliant Interior Plumbing Protect, b) Reliant Exterior Plumbing Protect and, c) Reliant Water Heater Protect. Each is regularly priced at $9.99.
Reliant Plumbing essentials is provided by Allied Warranty, LLC (“Allied”). Participating customers shall look solely to Allied for Plumbing essentials claims and coverage. You must have a Texas service address to purchase this product. Your Reliant account information will be used by Allied for enrollment in Reliant Plumbing essentials, and you will soon receive additional information, including Allied’s toll-free number, product details, terms and conditions for covered items, and your contract effective date, which is when your coverage begins for Reliant Plumbing essentials. You will have 30 days after your enrollment is processed to review Allied’s materials before the contract effective date. If you call and cancel during your review period, you will not be billed for this service. If you decide to continue with this service after the contract effective date, your coverage will begin automatically, and the Allied charges will appear on your Reliant bill. You can cancel Reliant Plumbing essentials at any time by calling Reliant at 1-866-RELIANT. If at any point you elect to change electricity providers, your Reliant Plumbing essentials coverage will continue unless you choose to cancel this service separately. However, you must pay your final bill in full before this service can continue. Allied Warranty is an affiliate of Reliant Energy Retail Services LLC. Participating customers must contact Allied Warranty for all home services requests and claims.
