The Reliant EcoShare program, with help from customer contributions, has raised over $2 million for EarthShare of Texas, a foundation that supports the state’s respected environmental organizations.

The Houston Texans and Reliant have teamed up to help power a brighter future for students across Houston. Together, they are equipping students with the tools they need to succeed. They have awarded over $700,000 in student scholarships to outstanding student-athletes.

Reliant partners with the LEAD First Foundation to prepare students for school and become leaders in their community. The LEAD First Foundation supplies materials, training and professional development to schools in Corpus Christi.

Reliant partners with the YMCA and YWCA for their Safety Around Water mobile programs. Reliant has donated to help expand their essential water safety education in underserved communities in Houston, Dallas-Fort Worth, and Lubbock.

Reliant is proud to partner with Space Center Houston, a leading science and space exploration learning center. Additionally, Reliant is the presenting sponsor of Galaxy Lights.

Reliant partners with the City of McAllen and the McAllen Chamber of Commerce to sponsor four of the largest events in the region. We are proud to be one of the leading contributors to MXLAN, Fiesta de Palmas, the McAllen Holiday Parade and the South Pole Illuminated Festival.

Reliant believes in empowering women. We have supported Dress for Success since 2000 and donated close to $40,000 to this organization.

The Warren Center serves, empowers and advocates for children and families in North Texas impacted by developmental delays and disabilities. Their vision is to make sure all children, no matter their condition, reach their full potential.

Reliant has helped Habitat for Humanity build affordable homes for people across Texas for 20 years. In 2022, Reliant was named as the Official Energy Partner of Robins Landing, a 127-acre community development by Houston Habitat.

This year marked our 11th annual Reliant Home Run Derby with the Dallas Cowboys. This friendly charity competition has raised over $900,000 for the community.

Reliant has assisted Rebuilding Together Houston with home repairs for low-income homeowners for almost 25 years. Employees participate in the Martin Luther King Jr. Wheelchair Ramp Build, Rising Together during Black History Month and Rebuilding Juntos during Hispanic Heritage Month annually.
